How to measure

To measure your feet stand on a level floor with the back of your heels against a straight edge or wall. When measuring you might find it easier to do this with a friend.

Women's footwear conversion & measurement chart - how to choose the right size footwear

1. Foot Length
Measure your foot length by placing a ruler flat on the floor straight alongside the inside of your foot from your heel to your toes.

Place an object with a flat edge straight across your toes with the edge touching the tip of your longest toe. Take the measurement (in millimeters) from the ruler where the flat edge crosses (see image above). This is your foot length measurement.
2. Foot Joint
The joint is the ball of the foot and is usually the widest part of the foot.

Place a fabric tape measure under your foot and measure the circumference to get your joint measurement.
Please see the diagram above for guidance. We offer 2 width fittings: a standard fit and a wide fit.
3. Calf Circumference
Place your foot flat on the floor. Using a fabric tape measure, measure the circumference of the widest part of your calf as shown in the diagram above.
4. Selecting a shoe size
If your foot measurement is halfway between sizes, select the larger size.

You may find one foot is longer than the other, this is quite normal, please use the larger size when making your shoe size selection.
